Mountain Petroleum is a family owned and operated business located in the Adirondack region of Upstate New York in the town of Schroon. We provide home heating fuel delivery, heating system sales, service and installation. Customers can choose from several different fuel delivery programs and payment plan options to service their heating fuel requirements.

Fuel Delivery

At Mountain Petroleum, unless a customer requests to be put on a "will-call" basis, we place all customers on an automatic delivery program.
The benefit is if you run out of heating fuel and your account is kept current, we will provide an emergency delivery of heating fuel anytime, day or night, without an extra charge.
However, we cannot predict extreme weather events (such as prolonged periods of sub-zero weather) or changes in our customer's lifestyle.
Occasionally there are run-outs, or no-heat situations due to lack of fuel and heating system problems.

If you are calling after regular business hours, you will reach our answering service and will be prompted through a series of options.
If you have an emergency, please leave a message for a service technician who will be ready and willing to serve your heating needs.
Calls are taken in the order in which they are received, with the following exception: "NO HEAT" call take priority over other problems.
Please be patient, as our service technicians will help you as quickly and efficiently as possible.

We will be offering a floating pre-pay price for fuel oil, propane, and kerosene.
A floating budget price will also be available.
These prices will change at each delivery depending on the market.
The advantage to you for being on a pre-pay plan is a discount of $.38 off the daily charge price.
The advantage to you for being on a budget plan is a discount of $.33 off the daily charge price.
