Business Details
We have been serving the La Porte area and surrounding Northwest Indiana communities for over 50 years since our founding in 1966. Our business was originally established by Ralph Harness, Wayne Geisler, and Monroe Bormann as a family-owned plumbing and heating company. In 1997 ownership passed to Chris Schwark, and in 2015 it was transferred to longtime General Manager Douglas Kiger. In 2023 the company was acquired by Kyle and Tyler Ahlgrim, the stepsons of Douglas Kiger, who continue the family tradition. We employ licensed professionals who bring decades of hands-on experience to every residential, commercial, and industrial job. Our team provides a full spectrum of services, including air conditioning, heating, plumbing, bathroom remodels, radiant heating, ductless systems, water treatment, and maintenance contracts.
We prioritize honesty, transparency, and respect in every interaction, ensuring customers receive fair pricing and clear communication. We diagnose issues accurately and implement effective solutions the first time to minimize downtime for our clients. We offer 24/7 emergency service to address urgent heating, cooling, or plumbing issues whenever they occur. We proudly serve the towns and cities of La Porte, New Carlisle, Michigan City, Westville, Valparaiso, Hamlet, Hanna, Kingsbury, Kingsford Heights, Knox, La Crosse, Mill Creek, North Judson, Rolling Prairie, Otis and Union Mills. We are committed to delivering dependable craftsmanship and maintaining trust with our customers.
